What needs you in Jira, today

130 tickets. Three short lists of decisions.

Boardkeeper reads your board every few minutes, runs its rules against it, and shows only what needs a call from you — with the evidence, and a button that does the thing.

The three lists

Each tab answers one question about your board.

Actions

What needs a call from you, today?

A deadline buried in a description with no due date set. Two tickets that are one defect. A story whose acceptance criteria can never be met. Judgements only the board owner can make — with the quote, the field, and the diff.

Reassign

Who is wrong, missing, or drowning?

Nine days unassigned inside an active sprint. Fourteen open on one engineer, zero on another. A QA sweep assigned to the person who wrote the code. Each row proposes one ticket to move, and moves it in one click.

Follow-up

What did you commit to that is quietly stalling?

A ticket still To Do while the work depending on it is in test. Twelve days in Approved Dev. Boardkeeper drafts the nudge from the evidence; you send it as a Jira comment, a Slack DM, or a Teams chat — your words, your account.

Rules, not a feed

Fourteen rules. All of them live.

Every finding shows its work — the evidence, and a button that does the thing. Four of the live rules read ticket bodies for deadlines, named owners, duplicates and unsatisfiable acceptance criteria; those carry a confidence and a purple inferred lozenge. Snooze a finding and it hides until the ticket changes. Mark one wrong three times in a fortnight and Boardkeeper pauses that rule until you say otherwise.

Trust

It writes to your board. So it never writes silently.

Confirm, write, read back

Every action shows before → after and waits for you. After the write Boardkeeper re-reads the field and only then says done.

Thirty seconds of undo

Assignments and status moves can be reverted from the toast. Comments and chat nudges can't be unposted, so they're never sent without a Send.

Your token, your Keychain

One Jira API token with read, assign and transition scopes. Stored in macOS Keychain, never shown again, never sent anywhere but your Jira, Slack and Microsoft.

Quiet by default

Polls every five minutes, backing off to thirty when the popover's closed and fifteen on battery. The badge counts only findings above a floor you set.

Put your board in the menu bar.

Setup takes two minutes: paste a token, pick a board, choose how loud. Then look up when the number changes.
